Activity :

Champion is a blue-green copper fungicide and bactericide for control of Coffee Berry Disease (CBD), Bacterial Blight of Coffee (BBC). It also controls fungal and bacterial diseases in beans, carrots, potatoes, tomatoes, ornamentals, tobacco, vines, citrus, mangoes, wheat and barley among others. It can also be applied as a nutrient providing elemental copper.

Rate and Method of Use

Champion many be used with all types of spraying equipments.

Crop 000000000 Application

 
Coffee For control of Coffee Berry Disease (CBD) and Bacterial Blight of Coffee (BBC) mix 140gm champion in 20 litres of water and spray for protection. Start spray at the onset of rains and repeat after 21 days. For Coffee Leaf Rust use 70gms of Champion in 20 litres of water (3.5-5kg/ha).
 
Prevent early and late blight by applying 70-90gm of Champion in 20 litres water at 7-10 days interval starting when plenty are 15cm high. Use highest rates when diseases are severe.
Potatoes
 
Tomatoes Prevent early and late blights, Septoria leaf spot, bacterial sport, anthracnose and grey leaf and cold by applying 70-90gm. Champion in 20 litres of water at 7-10 days interval before symptoms of disease. Ensure both upper and lower leaf surfaces are well treated. This rate is equivalent to 350-450gm Champion in 100 litres water or 2.5-3.0kg Champion/ha.
 
Beans Control Bacterial Blight by using 70-80gm Champion in 20 litres water or 2.5-3.0kg Champion/ha. Apply before onset of disease and repeat 7-14 days depending on local conditions.
 
Citrus Control scabs, pitting, black spots and brown rots by spraying 40gm Champion in 20 litres of water. Apply a pre-bloom and post-boom sprays at 30 day intervals.
 
Onions Use 70-90gms Champion in 20 litres of water (2.2kg/ha) to control purple blotch and Powdery Mildew. Repeat spray at 7-10 days.
Wheat, Barley Control Septoria, leaf blotch, helminthosporium spot and blotch by applying 1.5 - 2.2kg Champion in a hectare at early hading. Follow with a second application 10 days later and use higher rates when disease pressure is high.

Ornamentals(Roses, carnationschrysanthemums etc) :

Control Powdery mildews, Black spots, Alternalia blight, pseudomonas leaf sport, botrytis and septoria in green houses, fields and nurseries by applying 450gm Champion in 450 litres of water (1gm/lit water) and spay at first signs of disease. Repeat spray at interval of 7-14 days depending in rainfall and disease severity.

Precautions

Champions a pest control product and should be used as per the latest recommendations only. Champion is compatible with most pesticides but it is recommended a compatibility test be done before bulk tank mixing.

Contradictions

Champion is compatible with most insecticides and foliar fertilizers, but before tank-mixing copper compounds with other products, confirm recommendations on compatibility from their labels.

Storage

Store in a cool dry place away from food or feed, and livestock in original sealed containers.
