oils. Garlic is a well known natural pest control product. It is
very versatile and controls a wide range of pests.
· Activity
GC-Mite controls mites and thrips.
· Crop Range
It may be applied on all crops which host these
pests. However, garlic based products are known to be phytotoxic
on some crops and especially some ornamental varieties. Test with
a few plants before blanket application.
· Rate of use
and method of application
GC-Mite is recommended at the rate of 3mls/litre

both sides of the leaves. Shake thoroughly and keep the spray volume
agitated throughout the application exercise.

Application
Spray at the first indication of infestation and
repeat every 14 days until the symptoms disappear. The use of a
wetter such as Natural Wet enhances efficacy. Avoid overhead irrigation
for the next 24 hours after application.

GC-Mite may be applied in mixture with other pesticides
and liquid fertilizers. But always check miscibility with a small
quantity of product before mixing the lot.

people with sensitive skin may develop rashes and some people are
allergic to Garlic. Avoid inhalation of fumes and wear protective
clothing to avoid skin contact. Wash body and work clothes after
application.

issues. It has a zero-day preharvest period. Recommendations are
to harvest a day after the day of application.
