Composition
Pyegar is a high-tech blend of natural pyrethrins, alliin and azadirachtin in selected edible vegetable oils.

Mode of action
The pyrethrins provide quick knockdown of a whole range of pests and the combination of alliin and azadirachtin provide sustained kill of the highly incapacitated pests.

Pest Range
Pyegar® is active against a wide range of pests including bollworms, aphids, whitefly, thrips, fruit fly, mealybug, scales, mites, snails etc.

Crop Range
Pyegar® has no crop limitations. It is particularly ideal for food crops where residue levels are of critical interest such as fruits and vegetables where it occupies a special window of near-and-during harvest periods.

Rate of Use
3-7.5mls per litre of water depending on pest-mix. The higher rates are necessary for pests like mites, scales and mealybug

Effect on bees
Do not apply direct on foraging bees. Spray in late afternoon as this will also reduce photolysies of the pyrethrum content. Bees will not be affected by foraging on sprayed crop the morning after.

Waiting Period
Sprayed crops may be harvested the following day. Pyegar® has no residue issues.

Pyeneem is a specially prepared combi of natural pyrethrum and azadirachtin blended in select vegetable oils. Natural pyrethrum provides quick knockdown with azadrachtin providing residual kill of sucking and biting pests.
Pest Range

Pyeneem effectively controls aphids, whitefly and thrips.

Crop Range

Pyeneem has no crop limitations. It is suitable for use on fruits and vegetables and other food crops where toxic residues have to be avoided.

Rate of use

3-5mls per litre of spray volume at fortnightly intervals

Effect on bees

Do not spray direct on foraging bees. Apply in late afternoon which will also reduce photolysis of the natural pyrethrum content. Bees shall not be affected when foraging on a treated crop the morning after.

Waiting period

A treated crop may be harvested the following day. There is no waiting period. Pyeneem has a 0-day PHI.

Composition
Pyerin 4EC is composed of stabilized concentrate of natural pyrethrins with food grade natural anti-oxidants to mitigate against photolysis, thermolysis and hydrolysis of which pyrethrins are prone.
It is fortified with a select combination of food grade vegetable oils which are known to be synergistic with natural pyrethrins in order to provide not only the quick knockdown inherent in pyrethrins but also to give residual control emanating from the synergism.

Pest Range
Pyerin 4EC has efficacy on a wide range of insect pests including: mites, aphids, thrips, whitefly, scales, beetles, mealybug, bollworms, armyworm, caterpillars, fruit fly, stink bug etc
Pyerin has also a repellency effect on a number of pests including whitefly

Crop Range
Vegetables, fruit trees, coffee, pineapples, maize, cereals.
Pyerin 4EC is also used in post-harvest pest control programs on produce like pineapples, avocados, mangoes and ornamentals.

Rate of use
1.25-2.5mls/lit field application, 4-7.5mls/lt post harvest/treatment. Do not use murky water as this may affect efficacy. Water with a PH higher than 8 may also affect efficacy

Effect on bees
Do not apply on foraging bees. Apply late afternoon to avoid direct spray on bees. This timing will also assist in reducing photolysis. Bees will not be affected by foraging on the sprayed crop the following morning

Waiting period
Pyerin 4EC has no residue issues. Harvesting may proceed the day after application. – that is 0-day PHI (pre harvest interval)
